Leadership Academy program creates a pipeline of new Latino leaders, by recruiting our most talented canvassers interested in working for change. Our workshops guide their development as they become empowered community organizers. As a next step in our leadership pipeline, we designed an Advanced Leadership Academy, which selects the top graduates from the first level of trainings for an intensive multi-day session based in Washington, DC. In February 2010, we convened our first of these workshops in conjunction with the Generational Alliance.
