The Washington Bus Summer Fellows Program is a ten-week political boot camp in Seattle. Fellows spend the summer learning state-of-the-art campaign management, grassroots organizing, public policy formulation, and leadership skills. Alums are prepared to take leadership positions in campaigns and political movements.
Young people in Washington State are left out of the political process. Washington has 147 state legislators, but just two are under 40. The voice missing in Olympia is that of a younger generation.
The Washington Bus Summer Fellows Program takes young people who see the need for change, equips them with the best political tools available, and launches them into the political arena.
